Did you miss the selection of stats in my repsonse to your post? If you don't think Sano is contributing, and needs to go to the minors, than judging by OPS, so do Kepler, Castro, Cron, Buxton, Rosario, Schoop, and Gonzalez, as they ALL have a lower OPS than Sano.

 

Your dislike of Sano is clearly not based in any amount of rationality.

You can't put all the blame on one batter that inning. It was a collective choke. Garver can't be picked off there and Rosario also had a bad at bat.

He should practice his clutch more...….however it is you do that.

This is why I'm concerned about Sano... yes, I know he's hitting .900 OPS right now, but against tougher relievers and in tight spots he's just hacking away and hurting the team.

 

I'm surprised Pineda isn't going out there for the 7th... not sure if I'm ready for at least 3 innings of our bullpen against the Red Sox.

Not clutch hit. He just can't make contact on pitches in any ABs. That's why he always failed to be a productive hitter
