Cruz literally trying to hit a HR every time. It doesn't have to be this hard.

[70charger]

Rosario is hitting nothing well lately.

[USAFChief]

Does it matter if a player traps the ball on the wall? As long as it doesn't hit the ground?

Serious question.

That would not be a catch.

Except the bench, hey-o!

[70charger]

That would not be a catch.

So it's just a live ball until ...what? I mean, if he traps it against the wall, is it more or less the same as if he had trapped it against the dirt?

Serious question.

A trap is not a catch, whether against the wall or the ground.

last 14 days: .163/.200/.302    .502 OPS.

Except people are saying Sano can't hit, and not as well as Mauer.....I mean, he's no Hall of famer, but to say he can't hit, or isn't clutch, ignores the actual outcomes Sano has produced.

They want homeruns every at bat, so anything less is he can't hit.

The ball is live and in play. Just like any other live ball in play.

[Aggies7]

Good at bat

[Nine of twelve]

Let's go Max. It is time.

You know, I never knew that about traps against the wall.

Thanks, all.

I think most of us want contact more often. Fewer give-away ABs.

Think of it like a line drive off the wall that the fielder catches off the carom.

[USAFChief]

Kepler!!

[70charger]

KEPLER!

[notoriousgod71]

Walks will haunt...

[bighat]

There we go Kep!

[glunn]

Clutch hit.

[70charger]

The worm will turn, Jack. The worm will turn.

[twinsnorth49]

Hey wait, I was told the game was over. WTF?

[MNT1996]

That's great...until you remember our bullpen

[70charger]

Somebody has got to tell Sano to swing or not.

Edit, literally ninja'd by Jack Morris. Not sure how I feel about that.

I'm just stirring things.

[Aggies7]

Ankther high leverage situation for miguel

[notoriousgod71]

What are Sano's clutch stats now?

[Aggies7]

Was that technically a high leverage situation for sano?

[USAFChief]

I guess that wasn't high enough leverage.

[70charger]

Another Sano strikeout stranding many runners.
