Full disclosure: I fell asleep in the 13th, woke up in the 17th to see Kepler's hit and cheered. Tried to post something on the game thread but my laptop battery died. Was too tired to go plug it in and make a post.

 

Great game and nerve racking to watch.  Good training for us in October...

Heh ... Chief must have been using my computer because now I'm seeing ads for bikinis (definitely not my search) and for NorthDakota Senior Games ... most definitely not my search.

Man, I'm glad I stuck it out. There were like 3 posts total through the first few innings.

 

I did start off slow! Page 3 was already the 3rd inning. Usually there's 3 pages of lunacy posted prior to the game even starting.

Great thread everyone. I was going to move it, but many of us probably want to catch up on bikini ads and essential oils, so I won't move it for a couple hours.

If you'd read each and every post, you'd have seen that the research had already been done and the thread was second longest only to the 2017 playoff gamethread. Intel courtesy of Snepp? twinsnorth? diehard? I can't remember, it was super late.

There was plenty of crow being served last night. Sort of a buffet line setup, where most of us wandered by for a taste at our leisure throughout the long night.

Also, following the game while driving last night (while I was parked, kids. don't phone and drive), I almost had a heart attack when Sano stepped to the plate in the bottom of the 8th with 2 outs and a man on 3rd, right? Was there ANYBODY we had available to pinch there? I don't care if they'd never played 3rd before; it's suicide to put Sano in with 2 outs when you need a hit, especially late (lol) in a tie game. Nobody on or less than 2 outs, okay, but NOT WITH RISP & 2 OUTS!!!!!!!!
