bighat Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Yeesh, Sano. We'll take the 2-2 tie though. Twins can still steal this one.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 lol. 15 consecutive "Sano/high leverage" posts.
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Sorry, but I love Pizza Ranch... dislike. sorry. Still friends? go twins.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I guess that wasn't high enough leverage.Nah, the game was tied, it’s not like the twins were down by a couple runs,.
glunn Community Moderator Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Twins need to learn better how to lay off the high pitches.
Duker Provisional Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Could’ve expected the end of that inning. Bring back Austidillo, at least he’s hittingIn Rochester. Sano wasn’t hitting that well Down there either.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Rocco needs to someone pitch hit for Sano. He can't MAKE CONTACT.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 lol. 15 consecutive "Sano/high leverage" posts.Dude has more K’s than RBI with RISP over the last 4 seasons and we aren’t allowed to criticize. It’s bonkers
70charger Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Now it's just our bullpen against theirs, in an epic fight to the... Oh. Wait.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Twins need to learn better how to lay off the high pitches. If anyone figures it out it will be the first time in over 100 years.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Yay! A closer with a 1.20 WHIP! *sigh*
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Somebody has got to tell Sano to swing or not. Edit, literally ninja'd by Jack Morris. Not sure how I feel about that. I find that Jack says the same things on air that I yell from my couch.
twinsbaby Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Sano's whiff% is incredibly high, that's not to be successful at the highest level.
70charger Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Batting coach needs to sit Sano for an inning for every checked swing he has. Hell, he probably had nine this game.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Kepler nails the chorus and keeps the panicky TD game thread from jumping...
twinssporto Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 SEASON. OVER.Seriously, after watching this team the last 9 years play way below average. IT'S TIME TO PANIC!!!!!!
notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Can we get our first walkoff Alexi Casilla is not walking through that door.
Squirrel Community Moderator Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Hey wait, I was told the game was over. WTF?Who told you that? Aggies?
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Dude has more K’s than RBI with RISP over the last 4 seasons and we aren’t allowed to criticize. It’s bonkersNot allowed? Dude, it's all you do, lol! NO deletions last I checked. Relax.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Alexi Casilla is not walking through that door.Man, he was great at that wasn’t he
70charger Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Sano makes me even more skeptical about Brent Rooker. I thought it was a good pick, and I thought he had a chance to be in the majors and producing even by now, given how old he was at the draft. Now I think he's trade bait. A little off topic, I know, but the longer he goes with that high K rate in the minors the less likely he is to do anything in the majors. Any power hitter can grab a hold of one and send it 500 feet from time to time, but it's pretty one-dimensional. With no defensive value, I don't know that he has a place on this team.
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Who told you that? Aggies?Probably......I mean likely.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 I stopped by my usual little neighborhood bar on the way home, and struck up a conversation with a fellow that happened to sit down next to me at the bar. The usual stuff, weather, politics, sports. He spoke with a Spanish accent, so I had to ask...and yup, he had emigrated from Mexico. "I came here 4 years ago, with only the shoes on my feet, and a sack on my back," said my new friend. "And now I have a $400,000 house, two nice cars, and over a million dollars in the bank." "Wow," I said. "That's awesome. Tell me...what was in the sack?" "$25 million dollars," he said.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 Not allowed? Dude, it's all you do, lol! NO deletions last I checked. Relax.Sorry, should have said “aren’t allowed to criticize without a stern admonishment from the senior members of the just for fun baseball website”

LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 19, 2019 Posted June 19, 2019 The worm will turn, Jack. The worm will turn. I was thinking that a wise man had told me that once, until I realized that I was just remembering Willem Dafoe in Platoon: http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-oWXRzhdhtwQ/UGcSqPOIx6I/AAAAAAAADqE/muaBgL-wLGM/s640/platoon+mouth+gun+worm+turning.jpg
