For all the **** we give the bullpen:   11 IP, 12H, 2ER, 1BB, 12K.   Hats off to a gutsy ass performance from 8 different guys   And how about Max?  3/5 with a game tying tying hit in the 8th, a game

Was pretty bummed when I got called into work tonight because I would be missing the game. I got off around 9:45 and rushed home to see the end of the game.   I was destined to watch 9 innings of Twin

Could’ve expected the end of that inning.

Bring back Austidillo, at least he’s hitting

In Rochester. Sano wasn’t hitting that well

Down there either.

Sano makes me even more skeptical about Brent Rooker. I thought it was a good pick, and I thought he had a chance to be in the majors and producing even by now, given how old he was at the draft. Now I think he's trade bait.

A little off topic, I know, but the longer he goes with that high K rate in the minors the less likely he is to do anything in the majors. Any power hitter can grab a hold of one and send it 500 feet from time to time, but it's pretty one-dimensional. With no defensive value, I don't know that he has a place on this team.

I stopped by my usual little neighborhood bar on the way home, and struck up a conversation with a fellow that happened to sit down next to me at the bar. The usual stuff, weather, politics, sports. He spoke with a Spanish accent, so I had to ask...and yup, he had emigrated from Mexico.

"I came here 4 years ago, with only the shoes on my feet, and a sack on my back," said my new friend. "And now I have a $400,000 house, two nice cars, and over a million dollars in the bank."

"Wow," I said. "That's awesome. Tell me...what was in the sack?"

"$25 million dollars," he said.

Not allowed? Dude, it's all you do, lol! NO deletions last I checked.

Relax.

Sorry, should have said “aren’t allowed to criticize without a stern admonishment from the senior members of the just for fun baseball website”

The worm will turn, Jack. The worm will turn.

I was thinking that a wise man had told me that once, until I realized that I was just remembering Willem Dafoe in Platoon:
