Game Thread: Twins @ Angels, 5/23, 3:07 CT

[ashbury]

This needs more likes, people.

We were distracted by the squirrel.

[Brandon]

6 of the games.starters.have hit a HR today and 2 hit 2.

[VATwinsFan]

Angels' management joining that of the Mariners to demand MLB conduct investigation into PED use by the Twins.

Arise!

(well, he just walked but ...)

[70charger]

This has got to be some kind of record.

[ScrapTheNickname]

They're scary good. I t think I have to turn away.

[John Kelsey]

I love that "no other team has multiple 6 HR games" stat. The Twins have 4 now, including two 8 homer games.

[Aggies7]

Waiting for the twins in the clubhouse postgame

[luckylager]

That "Land of the Lost" water feature in center field at The Big A really looks dated.

[ScrapTheNickname]

You can have your machados and harpers and put them in a paper bag and sail them down the river.

[USAFChief]

Angels fans: "That's not that CJ Cron, is it??"

[MVP Nick Punto]

I just hate to see owner ineptitude ruin a team so quickly. It just makes me sad when there may be more teams out of contention for playoff spots than not by the end of July.

I'm primarily a Wolves fan. It's incredible to watch one of the premier teams in the league in the New York Knicks be consistently the laughing stock / punching bag of the league because the owner has his head further up his rear than should even be hypothetically possible. Then he, the billionaire, tries to ban a paying fan for shouting for him to sell the team as he walks by. There's nothing worse than a bad owner

You load your 3D printer with explosive material? Could it have been primed remotely as well?

Ok, you got me. This actually happened to a friend instead of me, but the joke works better if I tell it in the first person...

[notoriousgod71]

At this point, I just become enraged each at bat that results in anything less than a bomb. Even Schoop's home run off the scoreboard caused me to demand a trade.

[Blake]

Beer league softball played by an MLB team.

Wow.

[Aggies7]

This reminds me of the 98 vikings. And that worries me

[snotboogie]

Can we just fast forward to late October/early November when I make my first ever trip to Minnesota for the parade?

You can stay at my place.

[Doomtints]

Looks like yet another year where we don’t generate many save opportunities

Probably good since the Twins don't have a closer.

Wow.

Or like where I am from - a town with 2500 people playing my town with 350 people.

YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH. DELETE THIS.

[wabene]

And next up the flame throwing fireman The Duffster® slinging down the opposition (complete detachment from reality)!

[Aggies7]

YOU SHUT YOUR MOUTH. DELETE THIS.

I will not. I’ve been hurt in the past.

[Blake]

Sort of defines the Twins so far this year.

[Blake]

I will not. I’ve been hurt in the past.

Oh, so you want the rest of us to experience your pain?

Cruel, man, cruel.

[Brandon]

9th inning...last call for HRs!

[MVP Nick Punto]

I will not. I’ve been hurt in the past.

We've /all/ been abused by the Vikings, but you do not put that evil on the Minnie and Paul's!

[wabene]

I don't want to swear on such a wholesome site but WTF?

His uncle owns the Cleveland Indians, and has publicly spoke about not being able to "afford" their best player (Lindor) a couple years before he even hits free agency.

[glunn]

Just checking in and I see that we still need insurance runs.
