Blake Verified Member Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I hope the Twins end owning the East as well.Yeah, that too, but the East at least appears to have a couple of good teams, unlike the AL West and Central
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 tribe down by 7... soon to be an 8 game lead... could be double digits by the end of May
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 23, 2019 Posted May 23, 2019 I saw none of this game. All I have to say is what the ****? How is it that this offense can keep doing this? (Maybe it can't, but it's still mind-boggling.)
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Grumble, grumble, 6-1 road trip. Shoulda been a 7-0 road trip. Grumble grumble.Yeah, it's been kind of disheartening. They've been losing a game once a week, sometimes twice.

IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 ... The Pitchers:Martin Perez (6-1, 2.89 ERA, 53 K's) vs Matt Harvey (2-3, 6.35 ERA, 34 K's) Martin Perez would be the clear cut choice for most improved player in the American League if the season were to end today.... Unless he loses the vote to Buxton. Or Garver. Or Schoop.
yarnivek1972 Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Think maybe someday people will talk about the 2019 Twins the way people talk about the 1927 Yankees?
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 I went over and perused the Angels game thread and ran across this gem: "Red-headed step-children are mollycoddled compared to this thrashing." If you get the chance, check out: www.halosheaven.com and read the game thread for this game. Those guys are brutal and brutally funny.
Blake Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Think maybe someday people will talk about the 2019 Twins the way people talk about the 1927 Yankees?Instead of a "murderers row" the "nine assassins."
DiscGolfer Verified Member Posted May 24, 2019 Posted May 24, 2019 Both Houston and the Twins should own their divisions. As of right now, it looks like it won't even be close. On May 13th before the Twins played LA and Seattle, the Angles were 2nd in the west and Seattle was 3rd. Now the Angles are 4th and Seattle 5th. Your welcome Houston.
