What a shocker...no team put a claim in for Garlick. He didn't want to go the FA route, so he's back to StP.

I checked the Twins’ website and there is an inconsistency. Jorge López I’d not listed at all, while Jorge Alcalá is still listed as being on the 15-day IL. Does this relate to López’ status?

Was Alcala moved to the 60-day? As for Lopez, I thought they transferred him to the 15-day, but I'm showing him still on the restricted list on BRef. If he's on the restricted list he wouldn't show up on the roster at all. I know initially the Twins moved him to the restricted list, but I thought they changed that. So, not sure ... maybe they just haven't caught up yet with the roster on their website?

The Twins are paying him the MLB minimum, $750k, for just this reason. They get him back at AAA for depth. He will gladly do what they say so he gets to be a AAAA guy getting paid like a MLB guy.

ESPN has Stewart listed on the 15 day IL. Ugh. 
 

Edit to add:  Ortega appears to have been recalled to replace Stewart.

Miranda is in the Twins’ starting lineup, playing third, hitting seventh. Pretty much makes it official that Lewis on the IL and Miranda recalled.

Haven’t seen anything official, but this is what most are saying. The Miranda part is certain, the Wallner part isn’t official.

I believe Do-Hyoung Park is reporting the same. Miranda to the IL and it appears likely Wallner is coming up.

Wallner is listed as on the Twins active roster while Miranda is listed on the 10-day IL at 1:15 this afternoon.

They've activated Floro and Polanco, Sands down. Going with one fewer bullpen pitcher. Interesting. I guess with a day off yesterday and a day off Monday, they're hoping the bullpen can get through 3 days in KC with 7 guys in the bullpen instead of 8.  Lots of machinations 3 days before the deadline.
