Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Astonishing. Or not. Not sure. get back to me in a bit.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Blown save for Jax tonight, blown save for Pagan last night
KirbyDome89 Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Hated the bunt call. What do I know I guess....
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 How bad does the bullpen need to be before Falvine does something besides suck on their thumb and sleep on their money?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 The best thing that could happen is for Cleveland to stay hot and run the division, this isn’t the year for us yet. You can’t need 4-5 relievers and 2 starters in late June and expect it to work
Tlaker Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Fire Baldelli now. Prove you want to win now!

cHawk Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Which do you trust more to fix your car: Twins’ bullpen or Packers’ special teams?
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 I'm not sure how you don't just go to Jax in the 9th regardless if you're going to use him if/when Pagan gets in trouble. Just bite the bullet and take the win and worry about tomorrow, tomorrow. Or just use Duffey or Thornburg. It's a 3 run lead with 3 outs. If you can't trust someone with that then they shouldn't be on the team.

RpR Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Ball goes under first baseman glove; outfielder hits fence before ball gets there, left fielder has a weak arm and instead of charging the ball wait for it to get to him. Poor fielding a Twins trade-mark.
Twodogs Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Twins need to bring in a closer. I know all of the popular theories nowadays says you just need a bunch of high leverage pitchers and that anyone can close. But it sure is nice when you've got one guy that has some balls and you can trust on a nightly basis.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Larnach's brain power is lacking. Seriously.... throw it to home? We could have been tied here.

No one is selling right now. Gonna have to remain afloat for the next month with internal options.

LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Nothing more demoralizing than having a late lead and a bullpen that can’t hold it, night after night
tony&rodney Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Sad to say but the decision to not use Duffey or Thornburg means they have no purpose unless the game is a blowout in either favor. That doesn't work.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 For those so inclined, baseballsavant had the hit % on the double at the fence at .940, and the two run single as .700 which is interesting because Celestino got a glove on the ball, even though he ran a long way

Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 the best news is i cant watch this sorry ass team tomorrow. thankfully.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 We bring in the leftovers. Cleaveland brings in the massive heat. I sense a sweep in the cards.

Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 These two games have felt like how the Twins play against the Yankees... enough offense, horrid pitching. Horrific play in the clutch.
Muppet Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 I would be ashamed in baseball if this team makes it to the playoffs
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Author Posted June 23, 2022 the few cleveland fans are going to be insufferable
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Sanchez will be swinging for the fences. Or looking at strikes.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Sanchez striking out on three pitches was as predictable as the sun rising in the east tomorrow morning
Montdak Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Stupid. Pathetic. Doing whatever it takes to lose. Did you see that guy bunt. He did it right. Didn’t jab. Our catcher’s bunt way back that we praised he did jab at maybe not as bad as some but that was lucky. We can’t beat Cleveland. You see what’s happening here. Ranmirez will beat us single handled the rest of the way. It’s crazy to say but the season is lost from this point probably.
