3 Double plays yesterday and today.   Why didn't Baldelli tell the batter to bunt?   I don't see Twins bunting very much.  Does Baldelli dislike bunting?

Like the rest of you, I'm just waiting for the bullpen to give up 2+ runs and end this. Or maybe a tiring Ryan will do it himself. Or maybe there will be a disaster in the field. We all know it's going to happen, we just don't know how and when.

Bunting doesn't exist in today's game.  It's not just a Twins thing, it's a league-wide thing.

Mondesi did have a bunt single RBI in the game yesterday. But yeah, it's very rare.

Only one K today and six yesterday. Sometimes teams go through slumps like this. Damned if you do (bunt, steal, hit and run), damned if you don’t. Wind keeps possible homers in play and the opponents make good plays. They will bust out, but the longer this goes on, the further back they’ll be.

Don't know about KC but we have good scorers in the Twin Cities.

But don't blame them, the league has defined how they want errors called and they are not to my liking either but it's standardized across the majors.

I presume I am a lot older than most of you but there used to be a lot of games like this and I do not expect the Twins to suddenly go to hell.

I do not care if neither team gets another hit if the Twins win.

I'd like to see it, but the heart of the lineup is up.  The book would say he's done.  Weighing against taking him out now, though, is everyone's knowledge that the bullpen has been shaky.  I'd say, he gets one baserunner after which he sits.

Good hitters used to, and probably still can, control their bat to get a deliberate bloop hit.

Unlikely with him at 85 pitches.  I'm guessing no Twins pitcher throws 100 pitches until May at the earliest.
