Do you have any fun work practical jokes you've played on someone? We would love to hear a few if you have one or two.

This one time I called the Minnesota Vikings and told them I worked for the Dallas Cowboys. I got them to trade a bunch of draft picks for Herschel Walker. I think the Dallas Cowboys went under the next season

No reason for Joe Ryan to come out of this game, so naturally he’s pulled. 85 pitches. Cruising. Nonsense

He did give up 3 base runners in those 85 pitches.

We had TWO FCC wisecracks!

Though, for every joke there is some level of seriousness so you may be right.

I did enjoy those. It is the bemoaning and pessimism that is hard to take over and over. Could be just me though.

On the plus side, I am going drinking tonight (apropos of absolutely nothing).

Can't a guy enjoy this rarity for even two minutes?!

I just know that Duffey is getting one of the final innings

Maybe his problem is just one of confidence. Maybe he just needs to have success in a high leverage situation to get over his poor pitching. We should give him every opportunity to round the corner. Eventually, he'll do it!

who pitches the last 2? Jax hasn't pitched in 2 games, Romero threw 30 pitches 2 days ago, Stashak threw 21 yesterday, Thielbar 15 yesterday, Pagan and Coulombe haven't pitched in a week and Duffey threw 15 two days ago.

I think they bring Duran back for the 8th, and Duffey for the 9th or maybe Pagan?

Yeah I'd bet Duran gets another inning then Pagan.

Joe Smith warming.  So there's at least one.  Hopefully.

The single biggest surprise of the year so far.

Yeah, I didn't expect him to be this bad.

Dylan Bundy would be up there for me as well.

Truth. Those two are the biggies for me (actually, other than Ryan, not sure any player is doing close to what I expected, good or bad).

Let's say he gets 650 PA this year.  Over his career his avg has been 694 plate appearances.  Let's put his slow start into perspective and it won't change unless he gets few PA's this.  Dude is making $50K an at bat

arg, the one guy I didn't mention, didn't think they would start an inning with him since he has I believe 11 pitches this year.

This team is so boring.

The never ending suspense of won't they or won't they doesn't do it for ya?

I know this is out of leftfield (pun intended), but I know this was brought up in an earlier game thread. Was it ever resolved in that discussion because here's an answer?

Isn’t it 1:30 pm where you are?

Radio just said it's his sixth outing, so probably more.  I can't confirm that though.

As a Wisconsonite, are you saying that he's way behind or a bit early?  Or even right on time?
