Nudist baseball?

Only if they limit the hiring of managers to the Fox Sports North girls.    Not to totally undervalue the role of managers but I imagine every game would still have a winner and a loser determined by the players on the field.

Star Spangled Banner

God Bless America

Both should stop. Also, the Replay system and the length of time it takes to get it "right" or "wrong" is ridiciulous, you don't need all 4 umps huddling up like it's a freaking 3rd and 10. Have them signal down within 20 seconds whether the call was right or wrong. It's 2015. Not the JFK assissination where we only have the Zapruder film to work with. NFL is 1,000,000x Worse, but at least they have the commercials excuse to use. Also, pitching coaches trips to the mound is getting old, let them "signal" or "yell" into the catcher and let him handle it.

The silent treatment, shaving cream, and sunflower seeds are all in good fun. Not sure how that can bother anyone to be honest.

I don't see why trips to the mound bother anybody.

My pet peeve is  Dick or Bert talking about how a pitcher has given us 6 strong innings when there is still one out to get in the 6th or how the starter has given them a good game when he is still pitching.   These two scenarios always seem to precede two out rallies by the other team.

Also, Dick raising his voice and inflection while saying "There is a deep fly ball" only to have the outfielder catch it routinely in front of the warning track.

Same boring after-the-game interviews, where the player badly wants to just go to the dugout.

Same boring interviews, but witth a player FROM THE OTHER TEAM! I don't care about players from the other team on my hometeam's show.

Players mugging for the camera in the dugout.

Announcers that just talk because they didn't do enough homework. You aren't comedians!!!!!

Uniforms on managers and bench coaches.

No more pajamas on the field. I want to see socks!

Yes, no middle of the game patriotic song. We ALL know the SSB was done at the beginning of the game as simply a ploy to make baseball's America's game.I'm jsut glad it hasn't turned into a medly of American standards and YES, I can stand the occasional choir leading us in song!

Bad dollar hotdogs that aren't worth a buck!

The use of "unbelievable" when it was not. How many things are truly unbelievable?

Relief pitching changes - the number and length of them.  I mean what a production - manager comes out to the mound - holds up an arm left or right - the bullpen door opens - who is coming out the door?  followed by a slow jog or walk to the mound.  Then all the warm-up tosses. Here is an idea that I am only half-joking about - let's pattern pitching changes after soccer substitutions.  Once the decision is made to change pitchers - the relief pitcher coming in has to be positioned right at the foul line between home and 1B.  The pitcher coming out runs off tagging the pitcher coming in and the game resumes as soon as the relief pitcher gets to the mound - no warm-up pitches.  Does a pinch-hitter get a few warm-up pitches tossed to him to hit?

My pet peeve is when people use the term "human element" when if fact what they really mean is "human error".

If one is of the mind that umpire screw ups are supposed to be a part of the game, say it like it really is.

Joe West calling a double that lands two feet fair a foul ball isn't a charming "human element" that should remain a part of the game.  Neither should a Joe West strike call that's a foot outside.

Thunder-sticks, cow bells, air-horns, beach balls, DUH WAVE, Rally Monkeys; organists who only know three tunes; all other organists; mascots, drunk and obnoxious neighboring fans.....

. I find the music divisive, personally. But again, I don't know if I CARE or not.

I find the organist's over-use of the same 4 public domain songs, over and over and over, divisive. Time to get a little more creative- and for Twins' management to not be afraid to pay out a few royalty pittances to deserving musicians. As of now, when the organist does one of her little bits for the millionth time, it's just one more reason to utilize the mute button.

Neither should Joe West's existence!

I don't miss Gardy calling everyone by a name ending in "Y" or "IE".
I also can't stand "Like the way they go about their business".  They're professional ballplayers, it IS their business, and according to Gardy & Gladden, 98% of players apparently do it the right way.

Every team claiming they have a better culture, philosophy, however you want to put it. "Gotta get back to the Twins Way." Or "The Twins Way doesn't work, gotta figure out something else."

The replay system is quite flawed too. Go with the NHL's model and have a centralized hub that reviews close plays. Like Dave said, no need for 4 umpires to huddle up and analyze the video on-site. Take their bias out of the decision, and there would be less time wasted on reviewing the call, along with the inevitable arguments by both managers after the call was reviewed.

"my wife and I came up with a FSNorth drinking game. We took a drink every time Bert said one of his cliches (at the major league level, CA HS math, SHE-cago, You are hereby circled, downward plane, etc). It can get bad fast".

Try this one........If Tim Laudner is announcing, take a drink every time he says:

"and you know what?"......yadda-yadda

OR

"and guess what?".....yadda-yadda

I GUARANTEE that your blood alcohol level will exceed your checkbook balance before the game ends.

Funny, I was gonna say the same bolded statement about the Star Spangled Banner and God Bless America.

Because it's pointless blind nationalism and a waste of time 5 or so total minutes that could be better spent on hilarious kiss cam hijinx.

One person's pointless blind nationalism and waste of time is another's patriotism and moment of thankfulness and reflection.     Its all perspective.   A friend of mine thinks golf is the biggest waste of time while I think everything else is just stuff to do in between rounds of golf.  So I asked her what she likes to do and she said going shopping or to garage sales which just numbs my mind.

This is probably more football than baseball but guys "having a great offseason."  I don't care what you did or accomplished in the offseason, I care about what happens when the real bullets start flying.

funny thing is, he was at first when the ball was caught......

Should have Punto'd it and been at 3rd.

In reality I couldn't care less if teammates fight.  It basically was a little shoving match and the media made a big deal about it.  If it wasn't Papelbon or the probable NL MVP it would have been a little blip in the game notes about a dugout altercation.

Locker room celebrations for every significant win. First, to clinch, then the division, then the first round, then...save it for the end unless it's something crazy like Game 163.

Related: tarp and goggles at a celebration. C'mon. Either be spontaneous or celebrate some other way. Who wants to party in a plastic room?

God Bless America for the 7th inning strech - that's "take me out to the ball game."

I remember the metal stands at the Met and "The Mexican Hat Dance"     :)

You don't like it when people plan to be spontaneous?
