I can’t say I love the pitching plan, but it’s moot if the offense can’t score any runs.

I think we need to find a better top lefty for the pen next year. Thielbar is getting pretty long in the tooth.

Instead of going with one of their starters e.g. Ryan and putting their faith that they will be able to spin a quality pitching performance their going with their bullpen that has been inconsistent at times with the expectation that they'll be able to throw 0's. Wasting Maeda and Ober yesterday in a blowout was bad but the decision to go with this plan tonight is horrendous and inexcusable.
