No because its fact.

Just an inept move

Hell one of his plans was Paddack who hasnt even been trusted all post season. And pitched like 3 innings all year

This is comically bad.

Too bad the Twins didn't take your application and resume more seriously.

Just a quick thought.  How do you rationalize or explain if the Twins should win this game, and continue to have success.  What's your alternative to 'never'.?

I'm not saying you're wrong, but interested in your thought process.

I'm not sure how to answer a theoretical. Routinely managing games this way is asking for it to blow up in your face. If you use 6 relievers on purpose, chances are one of them is going to have an off night. Managing a play-off game totally different than the other 162 is foolish. Short leash is one thing, this is another. Didn't work for the Blue Jays, didn't work tonight. And if it somehow does, the exhausted pen will probably bite them in game 5.

We're going to see Castro sooner than I expected.

Or maybe that's why they activated Buxton. He might pitch the 8th and save Castro for the ninth.

Who is actually calling these pitches?   WAY too many 2-strike pitches in the zone when there’s zero reason to even be on the black of the plate

Been going on all postseason, at least

Much more lucid. thank you!

The question is will the Twins set a record for strikeouts in a playoff game? Urquidy goes 9 and strikes out 20 Twins maybe?

+1

i have been thinking the same thing. Other than the brushback to Alvarez in the first, there doesn’t seem to be a plan of attack tonight, as far as how to pitch to these guys, granted they are top tier lineup

Was going to grab a tix off StubHub for $50. Vacillated for 20 min this morning and turned It down.

I just gave my wife $25 and said, "Buy yourself something and bring home the change."

for those that say this is a successful season, I ask why? If they don't win this series they have been eliminated in the same round they're always eliminated in.

Just because they beat Toronto in an added round doesn't mean it was a successful year. It's like a big 10 team winning a playin game in March madness.

6 playoff games will help with getting experience. And the streak(s) ending (or being reset) is good for the mental aspect.

Houston is a big boy team with a real lineup and we can’t hang

Ask the Pohlads if they turned a profit.  There's your answer.  They care about revenue generation, not your satisfaction.

Winning a playoff series even a 3 game series is progress.  Baby step progress but still progress.

We have notoriously low expectations, that's why.

Twins just cannot seem to muster hits. AS we head for the middle of the game, they can't continue to waste outs. They are making this pitcher look a whole lot better than he is.

Please guys....score some runs. Make this game interesting. All the right Astros are doing their job.
