The guffawing is because that's NOT the reason. The reason was 200 million for 6 years and there weren't better offers. Now if Correa said that was the reason and turned down better offers then it might be believable

The Twins' system didn't suddenly get better after two teams rescinded their offers due to medical concerns. The Twins were NOT his first choice!

I can remember the uproar when Twins selected Lewis rather than Greene back in 2017.

This is not the start we needed from Maeda.  With the stretch of games we have he's going to have to go 5 unless its obscenely out of hand.
