Also hes a lefty which we badly need rather than trying Moran and Headrick for the 5th time each.

He absolutely might not do well or take some time to develop. Im just glad to give a chance to a guy who has deserved it for a month in a spot where we really need him(mid relief and lefty)

Stats are one thing, but not the only thing. We've seen guys with great numbers in AAA struggle when they get to the majors. The coaching staffs in the minors get paid to recommend the right guys for promotion.

And Rocco isnt getting canned based off this series or next.

If we win 2/3 here we are in a flawless spot. Just wining 1 of 3 while disappointing still leaves us in a fantastic position standings wise.

Funderburk metrics are elite as well. Its not just base line stats. This was a 40 man roster thing and thats it.

There’s only about a 20% chance that the best team in baseball would beat the worse team in baseball 6 games in a row. The Twins aren’t the best nor is Cleveland the worse.

And as far as the division title goes, 3-3 will absolutely get it done for the Twins.

Correct on both counts. The hitter usually gets benefit of doubt but that was pretty blatant. Probably played into the balk a bit.
