I am a big Kenta backer but he needs to do a 60 day stint to build up or something.  We actually have better arms than this.  I think even Headrick could have done better than this.  I don't think we need a long leash after the last couple of outings and a skipped start. Use 60 days to get it together and get right.

Total BS by Rocco giving up after three innings.

Especially with a rested bullpen. But he does seem to enjoy leaving guys in when they’re horrible so idk

I doubt the press release from the offending clubs is where we should go for useful information.

?

This was on the Sunday Night Baseball broadcast. Not a press release at all. Just a demo. The pitchers used the rosin, washed their hand with alcohol as instructed by the umpires, and it got worse. The umpires don't have the tools to correct the problem, they just made it worse. If rosin is to be OK to use, then MLB has to come up with a protocol to have it not be subjective. Plus, when it comes to cheating, don't forget, we have Correa on our team.

What is Rocco doing by even letting Maeda pitch today? He should have been on the IL immediately after getting hit in Boston. He should then be in the bullpen the rest of the reason when he is healthy. This is getting ridiculous. He is a 36 year old free agent after the season.

It was clear Maeda wasn't right today.   Painful to let him flounder out there until the game is out of reach.

And?

And Buck and Jorge did, who are absent from this game?  You've made it very clear you hate off days, but they are going to happen when they don't want to push guys, especially those coming back from injury.  The constant angst just gets tiresome.

In other news.   Holy cow, Rocco hung Kenta out to dry.  This HAS to end with an IL stint, right?

Not a good look from the Twins today, from the lineup to the pitching to the fielding to the manager.

Pitching coach comes out to give Headrick a little time, Kenta throws another pitch, and voila the IL stint is coming. Strange day.

It's not "angst."

It's disgust, drifting toward anger, and it's gonna be there until they stop with this bs.

Meanwhile, the Jets have had quite a week.  Picking up a GM, Coach and QB all in one swift move, by acquiring Rodgers.

Don't tell the Jets Rodgers ain't the QB he used to be.

Velocity was down, even for Maeda. Zero margin for error...everything in the strike zone was getting hit pretty consistently.

I'm sure Maeda was communicating to Rocco/staff that he could get additional outs to save the bullpen. I would expect that from a veteran like Maeda. It looked like he was willing to take one for the team, but you have to record the occasion out, and he just got to the point where he couldn't accomplish that.

You can go ahead and tell em. Trade is official and too late to back out now.
