Great pitching. Really really good.

This is arguably the worse home-opening lineup we've posted in a long while. Might be bottom 10 all time. Thankfully, the 'bottom' guys actually had good games, but YUK.

I get the frustration with Correa...horrific game for him...but he's not close to my main concerns about the club. And, could you imaging what this lineup would have look like right now if the FO had not gotten lucky and signed him?

This is what it takes to beat a championship-caliber team. Great starting pitching, then clutch hitting in the key moments. The pitch Miranda hit was a very good slider that he followed down into the contact point. Nice piece of hitting, he never took his eye off the ball, all the way to the wood. 

Also nice to see that Astros pitchers are human. They can get a little tight under pressure, too. Great way to win the home opener, with some late heroics. Skol!

One can complain about the extra innings rule, but it didn't really affect the outcome today. Reconstruct the inning and we score a run, they didn't.

I just remember that his futility with 2 outs and runners in scoring position last year was a huge deal. And that horrible stat came up over and over and over well into the season.

His no pressure when it didn't matter anymore September performance made his season look way better at the plate than it was, and what and when we needed him.

Fair enough, especially as Correa wasn’t able to come through in several tries today!

I didn't watch any of the game and can't. Just found out we won. But still fun to watch all the complaints and I'm not giving anyone grief, I understand.
