twins_89 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Miranda heating up at the plate probably closes the door on Sano even getting a platoon role at 1B.

mnfireman Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Hicks looked like Stanton there, but we'll take it
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 This is just GD beautiful im leaving Jax in

Throughout the year, he's thrown it 11% of the time, and only twice to righties in 79 pitches. The game calling was completely in line with what we've seen for Archer this entire year. I must have missed those supposingly 6 change ups that he threw. The game calling could be in line in what they have been calling. IMO his change up could thrown more often especially in some SO situations even against righties, which IDK if they ever done that yet. As far as I'm concerned he should mainly throw his change up only in SO situations. Archer still does better with Jeffers catching than Sanchez.

Longdistancetwins Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 John Sterling now called 6-1 a “substantial” lead. Maybe….

stringer bell Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I’ve seen this movie before. I won’t count on chicken dinner until the 27th out in the top of the ninth.

I’m okay if we have seen the last appearance of Sano in a Twins uniform. I’d rather see Miranda and sooner than later Kirilloff at 1B.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 More cushion for the pushin’. Let’s have a quick 7th

notoriousgod71 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Watching the fs1 broadcast and Chris Myers game break. "Bellinger with a home run. Will Smith also slaps a home run."
Mill1634 Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 I don't want to get greedy (ok...I do...) but I wouldn't hate adding on another run or two and saving Duran another day.

He has a good slider against a RHH heavy lineup. There is a world out there where he has 5 successful innings tonight. Looks like you should have been the one betting.
blindeke Verified Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 See this is why you save your bullpen for when you have a lead. Just yesterday (this morning), everyone was ripping Rocco for not using Duran down a run.

Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 9, 2022 Posted June 9, 2022 Isnt Jax a quasi-long man? He gets through the 7th relatively quickly, I’m bringing him back out
