Twins are playing good and yet it feels like the Twins are losing with the injury.  Just bummed out.  And now fricking Jake Cave will most likely be called up.

I'd love to see them do something crazy like call up Lewis or Miranda instead. I know they won't, but it would be nice to usher in the next generation of special talent while we wait for Bux.

I hate to be a buzzkill, but it looks like Dan Hayes from "The Athletic" gets credit as the slump buster

If it didn't happen on TD, it doesn't count.

They've got four OF on the roster besides Buxton if he goes on the IL, with Gordon apparently someone they can also plug in as needed.  I don't know what the equivalent of the Batsignal would be for Jake Cave, but there's no need for them to fire it up at the moment ever.

Fixed.

I'm no doctor, but Buxton walked off under his own power.  Doesn't sound like an ACL tear to me.

My wife walked back to the car after she tore her ACL skiing.  It was the non-walking movement of getting into the car that confirmed for her that something was seriously wrong.

Somewhere there's a squirrely little guy with a voodoo doll of Buck, and he keeps sticking pins in it. It's off the charts incredible how he just keeps getting dinged up in one way or another. Please...PLEASE don't be an ACL. Keep thinking good thoughts!

Similar experience to when I tore mine. You can walk in a straight line i without pain but any other kind of movement that requires a twist or a lift causes a lot of pain. I didn't see it but that might be a way to assess severity. A meniscus tear (I've also done that, 3 times) allows for much more freedom of movement.

A win today despite whatever happened to Bux would go a long way towards boosting morale.

How about a big hit from Correa "get on my back, boys"!

Ryan looking stellar.

I've torn my ACL. If Buxton walked off without a limp, he didn't tear his ACL. I could walk in a straight line but not turn at all without severe pain.

I tore my ACL on the opening kickoff. Played the rest of the game, offense and defense, without a limp, or much pain. The next day my knee was twice it's normal size and I couldn't bend it for the next three months. So yeah, you can walk after tearing your ACL.
