I know I’m going to have to get over it, but Sanchez has no place on this team. Garver, Rortvedt, and JD for two guys that really struggled last year and the Yankees couldn’t wait to jettison (the Yankees wouldn’t let Urshela start at SS or 3B and Sanchez likely would have been released). We gave up three legit major leaguers, albeit with some issues, and valuable catching depth for that?

And everyday that passes, it seems like the probability that Urshela is our starting SS goes up. Sheesh.

I'd love to give the DH at bats to Kiriloff, who is much cheaper, if Sano is playing 1B.

Pretty good example of defense mattering in that inning. Kepler in right catches that liner Garlic couldn't get to and it's 2 outs no on as he doubles off the runner who was running on the play. Instead they score 2. Give me my Martin-Buxton-Lewis OF for 2023!

Also a TERRIBLE throw from Caleb Hamilton and then a bad throw from Martin to home. Kinda like watching high school baseball.

The only positive I can take away is, nobody besides Sands will likely see the bigs this year. (Pitchers that is)
