Wow, huge game thread for April weekday day game. Jeffers and Garver are a huge hole. I thought we had the best 1-2 catcher combo in mlb? Also, not scoring after the 6th inning is a concern. We didn't do it last year and not much in 2019. Were great scoring a few runs in the first couple of innings...then not so much. BTW I don't care Sano hit a HR. He's batting under whatever the sub-Mendoza line is

I doubt anyone will come close considering the league made a concerted effort to not replicate it. The offense was built to do exactly what they did in 2019.

If it makes anyone feel better. The Nats started out like hot garbage the season the won the WS. Their Bullpen was the worst in the league the first half of the year and they blew multiple games. I dont recall if that was because of injury or what but...just a thought.
