Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Perez, regression to the mean. Not good.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 92 pitches and Perez isn't through the 5th.
bighat Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Gonna need a replacement for Perez in this starting rotation, or coach Johnson needs to figure this out quick.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Man, that vaunted Cleveland lineup is up to their old tricks yet again!
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 It's clear they need to add pitching. We'll see in the next month, I guess. They already passed on spending only money....
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I don’t think this rotation can win a pennant. Just my 2c WhoaWhoaWhoa there, Champ! Next you'll be telling us that Odorizzi's 1.69 ERA might not be sustainable with a 4.28 xFIP...
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Well, this is the Perez I expected to see when he signed that deal. He has a track record of giving up a lot of runs... I don’t think this rotation can win a pennant. Just my 2cWell yeah, I don't think there's much debating there. This team needs more pitching. I don't think this rotation can win the division...Have you seen the 2019 AL Central? Perhaps most divisions would be a better way to phrase it.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 The Twins need to accept the fact that they are better than the Indians
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Everyone who has ever watched postseason baseball should not expect our outrageous power numbers to be a lock in October.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Only 4 swing and misses from Perez's 92 pitches....woof
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 When does the Indians team with the horrible offense I’ve heard so much about show up?
Blake Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Cleveland has received a big assist from the Sano throwing error.
LaBombo Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 The Twins need to accept the fact that they are better than the Indians Oliver Perez is apparently the last holdout.... Unless you count Oliver Perez' German shepherd.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Cleveland has received a big assist from the Sano throwing error. And a pretty bad starting pitching performance
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Gonna need a replacement for Perez in this starting rotation, or coach Johnson needs to figure this out quick.Perhaps our vaunted Pitcher Whisperer can raise his voice a little.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Rosario does a nice job tracking fly balls. That one to end the fifth was no piece of cake.
wavedog Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 That was a checked swing - ask the first base ump you jackwagon
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 And now a stick-it-to-you call to the next batter. The umpire's taking over this game at the moment in the way that gives umpires a bad name. / edit - and I give Marwin a ton of credit for understanding what was happening and keeping his cool on the first pitch.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Another guy giving 6” off the corners
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Who are the SP’s that will legitimately be available?
70charger Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Gonna be tough to hold this one together. Trevor May's control doesn't inspire much confidence.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 After that inning my dislike of Laz Diaz increased. I honestly didn't think that was possible.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Who are the SP’s that will legitimately be available? No one for at least a month, I'd guess. Then? Bad pitchers, expensive pitchers, pitchers that will cost major prospects.....
70charger Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Who are the SP’s that will legitimately be available? Don't see why Bumgarner wouldn't be available. Zack Wheeler when the wheels inevitably fall off the Mets. (Pun intended.) Mike Minor, but I'm skeptical he's as good as he's looked recently and seems like a regression candidate.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 Rain really bearing down on Cleveland. Best to not relinquish this lead
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 I wish someone could solve the puzzle and get the performance out of Trevor May. So many of his pitches are of the no-hope variety.
ashbury Verified Member Posted June 6, 2019 Posted June 6, 2019 What i miss? You miss a little, you miss a lot.
