The fail is complete. When Thielbar comes in to try and keep the game tied, you know the Twins have thrown in the towel. There is no excuse. The team is simply not very good and nobody is saving them. That mythical 'winning streak' is not going to happen. they just lose and lose and lose while teasing along the way.

How can anyone be hopeful after this miserable series? Sad thing is Twins could have won all 4 games if they had any hitters who bought in to the team concept.

Just get it over with now.

Although I would enjoy postseason play, no ownership group deserves it less than Joe Pohlad and group.

I remember he wrote some really mean stuff on the white board and the team responded - with a complete beatdown at the hands of the mighty Angels. They quit on Rocco a while back.

Ripping into them wouldn't do any good, they are wallowing in self pity, packing bags for off-season. This team is toast, stick a fork in em.

At this point, he's just jumping the shark. He has zero charisma or personality. How often do they pan to the dugout and he either has his head down, or staring into space, or better yet, sitting behind 3-4 other people not even really watching the game...

I don't believe managers generally make a huge difference in season win totals, but Gardy in his prime would have this team getting ready to clinch a play-off spot already.
