i really thought that Royce was gonna be a superstar.....sort of stride for stride with Bobby Whit Jr.........I was wrong (again).

Witt in his first 150 games 31 doubles, 20 HR's, 80 RBI's, .428 Slugging .722 OPS

Lewis in his first 142 games 26 doubles, 33 HR's, 103, .524 slugging, .860 OPS

I know Lewis is slumping now, but let's wait to see what he becomes.  He is actually putting up better numbers in his first 150 games.

How many stolen bases does Lewis have?

I think we can start packing the bags for Boston right now. We'll somehow find a way to lose this Whether it's the 9th or in Manfred-Ball. .

0% chance of winning this game.

The origin:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057012/

It's since been used as a nickname for many players with, for lack of a better term, bad hands

Thanks for the explanation.

Am relatively familiar with the movie, just was grasping at straws for the connection, as i'd never heard it before.

If i had to guess it would have been that something was threatening our precious bodily fluids.

But yeah. Pretty sure dropping the bomb is intentional in the movie, so woulda been a long time before i guessed that was the point of the name.

Props to Cleveland for flat out embarassing the Twins in the clutch, but it does not reflect well for them to be down in all 4 games and be playing such tight games with this awful Twins team.

1. Yankees

2. Astros

3. Tigers!!

4. Orioles

5. Guards

6. Royals

My post-season power rankings. Skubal's a monster and can steal short series.

Pick the one stat, the original post was about Witt vs. Lewis.  My only point is they are starting out fairly equally and we need to see if Lewis builds off his start like Witt has.

This really has been the biggest disappointment of the season. I thought he was a franchise player. I thought he was a 6 WAR player for years to come. Instead he's going into his age 26 season with only a season's worth of PAs, slow, a weak arm, and no defensive position.
