I just barely survived going to the west coast road trip in person. The early subsitution thing has to stop. It's wrecking confidence, having people look over their shoulders, and worse yet, not letting anyone get to actually improve on hitting. 

If we were winning with that strategy it would be one thing, but there is no world where our bench is better than Kirilloff just because said person is "right handed." 

I wrote about it in the preview. I was hoping it wouldn't happen. But here we are.

Rocco does that all the time. He pinch hit for Larnach last week when Trevor was like 3-for-3 or something going into his 4th AB. Why would you pinch hit for a guy who's got 3 hits on the night? Why would you pinch hit for a guy who hasn't even hit yet?

I have to continually remind myself that Rocco actually played the game at this level because his style of management leads one to believe that he has no feel for the game. No continuity, players look like they don’t have or know their roles, etc. I love Twins baseball but I hate what is going on with them lately.

I know that Larnach was ill all last week. I'm only speculating that perhaps Julien might be as well. Since he didn't hit. And Rocco subbed in earlyfor Gallo last Mon 12 inning game. I think Gallo got 2 AB and Solano 5. Don't know why Kiriloff got PH for. It has been a crazy vibe kind of game
