Solano just called out on three pitches, two of them nowhere close to the strike zone.   Begs to wonder, when the Yankees play the Dodgers, who gets the calls then?

For all the talk about his spin rates and "stuff", Pagan has no idea where the ball is going once it leaves his hand.

I have been on record as saying let him go. I have said it a lot less loudly since the Boston debacle. I still believe that Pagan is what he has been since 2019.

We lost this game in the sixth inning.    Bases loaded and we get a weak popup to first, a strikeout, and can of corn to left.  They load the bases and get a walk and grand slam.

Hopefully the last time we see Pagan in a Twins uniform.

I’m no Rocco fan but pagan had been doing better and the bullpen is thin. Duran and lopez can’t throw 2 IP each every day. If the offense could get out of their own way maybe this one wouldn’t be over

DeLeon looked great. Baldelli should have left him in. He did give up the two singles, but he was also striking guys out. DFA Pagan and keep DeLeon.

I thought DeLeon did OK, even leaving with 2 on and 2 out.  Why Rocco thought Pagan was better in this situation than DeLeon is beyond me.

That's the difference between teams that contend for championships and teams that don't. They're able to come up with the big hit at the right moment or come up with a stop when the other team has runners, the Twins don't.

I definitely thought leave the guy in who’s throwing strikes and struck out two ace hitters.  Pagan might be back to his old self.  I wish Bremer would just can the talk of how good someone did in the past in a situation like that.  It always goes right down the tubes. Doesn’t have to make sense it just happens.

Speaking of the Baldelli way, I think the decision to pinch hit for Larnach was absolutely horrendous, even if it was a lefty/lefty matchup.

After getting five straight outs, De Leon allowed two straight hits. It probably made good sense to replace him. The problem was, even with a 13-man pitching staff, Pagan was the only rested "middle guy" to get to Lopez and Duran.

Agree, however, the front office has handcuffed him to an absolutely lousy roster

Rocco has been doing this all year. I didn't like this on Opening Day and I still don't like it so early in the game.
