Robert Floren Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Come on now, just a medium fly ball will do. Better still, a hit.
Mortimerkenny21 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Jorge can do it; I have faith in him. Knock a couple in, or all 4 if you want.
bighat Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Bases loaded nobody out, we're going to score at least 2 here! Let's GO!
Hawkeye Bean Counter Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Look at the split stats for Gallo in games Twins have one and lost. Biggest disparity in performance I have ever seen, also gives good probability we win today. .081 BA in losses OPS of .434. In wins he is .295 BA 1.157 OPS
bighat Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Good move pulling Larnach. Time for Donnie Barrels to at least get the ball in play and get us a sacrifice fly!
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Were any of the pitches to Polanco in the zone? JFC
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 NOT A FAN OF THIS MOVE, Hope it works
CRF Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 I'd maybe have let Larnach hit there. Go against the damn sheet for a change.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 And Solano strikes out on a pitch outside of the zone
August J Gloop Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 He hasn't put one in the zone yet. Batters helping big time.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Just now, CRF said: I'd maybe have let Larnach hit there. Go against the damn sheet for a change. Not gonna happen with this current management
CRF Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 This ineffective bases loaded crap has to stop.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Absolute doggy doo doo. Bleeping terrible
bighat Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Guess I'm turning it off. Absolutely embarrassing. Team can't hit with the bases loaded and 0 out, team has lost 22 straight playoff games....it's impossible to like this team.
August J Gloop Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Two pitches in the zone, three outs. That must be what it's like to face Moran.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 PHing Solano is some really bad managing.
HawksNest Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 If you look at gameday on MLB.com, the three batters that came up with the bases loaded swung at only one pitch that was actually in the strike zone. Everything else was outside the zone. Solano and Polanco didn't see a single pitch in the strike zone Unreal
Robert Floren Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 There's a pattern: bases loaded, nobody out and nothing.
twins_89 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Bases loaded with nobody out and Polanco/Solano both make unproductive outs without seeing a pitch in the strike zone. It's tough to win when getting such incredibly bad at bats.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Just now, USAFChief said: PHing Solano is some really bad managing. Nothing surprises me anymore
danielp19653 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 maybe we should just have the runner on third try to steal home, at least then the bases wouldn't be loaded and we might score
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Another Puerto Rican on the roster! Vamos De Leon!
Fornasiere-ite Verified Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Another key at bat for Salano where he fails to put the ball in play.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 Bet that won’t come back to haunt us
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted May 17, 2023 Posted May 17, 2023 The inability to get anything with the bases loaded is almost comical at this point. I know it will somewhat even out at some point, but good lord. I've got no problem hitting for Trevor there, but I would much rather see Garlick pinch hitting against lefties than Solano at this point.
