  1. I don’t have Netflix so a game I would have loved to watch I couldn’t.
  2. Hoffman has some control questions but he has the most swing and miss stuff in the bullpen.
  3. Well I do my best, this part of the year I struggle a bit more as we have lots of activities.
  4. Won the series against the Braves now going for the sweep. Solid starting pitching - Bell with the homer, Jeffers with 2 run double and the bullpen and Gomez closed it out. Playoff odds on espn back up to 30%
  5. Amick was called up to the Mets AAA. Still striking out at about a 40% clip but hitting the cover off the ball in his other at bats. 7 home runs and nearly a 1.200 OPS. Still seems to be a small sample size and plenty of swing and miss, but potentially a 3rd/1st baseman with legitimate power. 30 home runs on the year.
  6. After thinking about this some more, I think Alex Jackson cursed the team when he’s DFA’d and reversed it when he was called back up, LOL. I am really starting to wish we had another year of control on Minter. He has been solid since coming over. I just hope Amick doesn’t make us regret that trade for a rental. Gomez just keeps knocking down saves. That and Bell continues to rake at the end of the season. I will have to update the playoff chances in my post trade thread but I was getting close to giving up on the team. One last point, Culpepper seems to be hitting his stride. Let’s get the sweep!
  7. I think @HarmonK03 should change his name to -thumbs down guy 2. No offense to @Thumbs Down Guy
  8. I am sure there are some other teams that have noticed the value received in trades and how quickly the bullpen was rebuilt primarily through minor trades (1 medium one) and working through dfa candidates and converted starters. Even with early season woes this may end up a top 20 bullpen on overall stats and potentially a top 10 in overall effectiveness by the end of the year.
  9. Regarding Bradley, I would disagree- Maki has done wonders. Kremer is much better than Jackson.
  10. @HarmonK03- Kremer has a .5 WAR and a slightly over 3 ERA for the Twins in 3 starts. Granted small sample size but that is #2 starter quality. Do I expect that next year no, but I do think he does have the upside of #3 starter stats.
  11. Other than Buxton I really like the approach of the 4 other batters. Throw in Culpepper and even Keaschall and the bats look legit. Defense on the other hand, still a work in progress and where do all these players play?
  12. He has 11 home runs - not exactly no power and currently an .857 OPS. The approach likely remains and have a mid/high .700 OPS to begin. You are looking for an Arraez like bat out of him at his full potential.
