Interesting and sad. No offense to him, but he's missed half their games so far so you'd hope he wasn't leading in counting numbers like HR and RBI. BA is a little different, but you'd hope that some of our more BA driven hitters would be beating him. SSS caveat, though.
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 KCB of hitting commercials write themselves, no?

Are matchups against today's pitcher over their career? Or just how each batter has done this season against everyone? The OP is just an image so i can't click on it for an explanation, and units are kinda important when comparing numbers, as are the details of how sampling is done for statistics.

Sorry i am too lazy to look anything up for myself these days. Or to get a ticket for either of the games here so far. Might look into playing hooky tomorrow...

Doctor Gast Verified Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 I'd give Julien another chance at lead off before going back to Kepler.
MMMordabito Verified Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Ryan has a real chance to launch himself into the AL Pitcher of the Month conversation with a great start tonight and a win. Goddamn that one pitch to Alvarez.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 One wonders what exactly Kepler needs to do to work himself into Baldelli's doghouse.

Maybe hitting him leadoff is that doghouse. Make him showcase his futility as many times per game as possible.
rwilfong86 Verified Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 This looks like a very winnable game tonight.

KCB are the initials one gets to put after one's name if one has been Knighted by a British Monarch. And Boston prides itself on foiling the British. But i suppose with the advent of PitchCom, It isn't so important how many lanterns are in the old North Church. On the other hand, the Hancock tower lights are still useful if you don't follow the weatherishappening site.

cHawk Community Moderator Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 I feel like I’ve just met a wish fairy. Willi Castro is not in the starting lineup.
RickOShea Verified Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 So, we've completed 10.5% of the regular season. Has anyone seen where Baldelli has made any positive influence on this year's team? I see the same mistakes and trends. His only positive is his consistency in mediocrity). How long does this continue before he makes some changes? No way will the FO remove him for quite some time (most probably not even at the end of this year, unless a miracle happens)
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Okay Twins, i seen enough of Back to the Future last night, with Sale, Kluber needs to be Klobbered!!!
