6 consecutive Twins Ks since Stringer checked the box score.

I was going to comment about no homers, but didn’t want the Royals to break out.

Those waterfalls at Kauffman Stadium look gorgeous.

And they're looking to build a new ballpark downtown. Why!!!??

Will they work on my grill?

2:18, even with Gray starting.

Less time for Chief jokes.  I was already a supporter of the clock, now I'm a committed fan.

Ever notice how the baseball acumen decreases as the game progresses?

I’m not sure if I’ve got acumen. But I’ll check the spice cabinet.

Now that I've finished watching my first place Minnesota Twins, I can have a little down time and then watch my first place Minnesota Wild. Good times!

Not happy with the offense. I know it’s very early, and a lot of starters never got what most would consider a traditional set of spring training reps and they are still finding rhythm. But if we’re only going to average 2 runs a game against the Royals then is going to be a very long and anemic summer.

also - why can’t we have a go-to guy to close the 9th? Why does it have to be this round robin approach or based on prior day pitch count, the lineups that day, barometric pressure, the phase of the moon, etc?  Why can’t we just have a “give me the damn ball” nasty as nails lock-down guy for the 9th that KNOWS he’s the guy for the 9th?

At the rate the Twins are going they will score 324 runs and allow zero for the season. Sounds about right.

346-0 counting the postseason.

If not, sage is an excellent substitute.

Game threads aren’t the place for sage advice.

Good advice.  Take it elsewhere.

Not to worry. I've instituted a joke clock.
