There was a Twins starter named Gray

Who bothered Brock Beauchamp one day.

  He fiddled and dithered

  Brock's interest withered

Because of the pace of play.

Ash with that time honored game thread trick

a clever form know as limerick

He tied it to content

and laughter was lent

and he didn't even need to be a Richard.

We seem to have the uncanny ability to make another team's scrub starter look like cyrus Young.

One wonders where the Bomba Squad went. Were they all abducted by aliens?

I was speculating that Franmill Reyes has become what Sanó became. He’s going to hit some long homers, maybe in AAA, but he “can be pitched to”.

I had been biting my tongue over that observation.  Please do an anti-jinx before his next PA.

There were two things wrong with my limerick: 1) Brock specified two days and I didn't take the time to adjust, and 2) it was clean.

Your rendition implicitly remedied the latter oversight.

At a brewery. Unknown to us, there was a drag show. Not bad, not great.

Coincidentally, this game is a different kind of drag show.

Jordan Lyles is a bad pitcher.

The Twins have one run on the board, so what does that say about them?

They're offensively offensive.

Cy was short for Cyclone.  His given name was Denton. True fact. (See what I did there?)

The Twins have had greater sucess against shane bieber and Garret Cole than against this dandelion farmer, Lyles.

I was referring to my old high school pitching coach, not the pro baseball player.

They named a town in Texas after him.

My apologies for assuming the obscure one. :)

Gonna go out on a limb and say that's all 50 shades of Gray we're gonna see today.

I can't imagine he personally ever gets tired of those references.

Is it? No...we've only seen 25 shades.

No apology needed. I lied. LOL

My favorite line from any work of literature in history:

"Hello," he lied.

He really meant "goodbye."

The real question is whether or not he said this in the morning or at night.
