This is just the Twins mentality. They can't win important or close games. I don't even need to see the playoffs to know that they are going to fail again this year, even if they make it.

I don't get how Cotton doesn't just get another swing and a miss on a high fastball like he did earlier in the count, Naylor was swinging at everything. Instead he gives him the same pitch that Naylor had just fouled back into the screen. Awful.

Bringing in Pagan was the wrong call, but Cotton should have been able to get out of that. Truly an embarrassing effort. It's time to DFA some relievers and try throwing more options at the wall to see if anything sticks. We tried the whole 'give Colome the entire season to prove himself' strategy last year and we don't need to repeat it again.

They had a bullpen issue even before they traded Taylor Rogers. The genius front office thinks they can just patch it together on the fly like they always do. It never works.

It will likely keep happening until we get a major league-caliber bullpen.  Unfortunately, we don't have one now and I'm not optimistic we'll have one anytime soon.

Pagan must go. He has totally lost it. When Twins blow one in extra innings, they sure do it in style. Or in the 9th inning for that matter. Twice now, Cleveland has scored 4 in their final AB to erase a 3 run Twins lead. Down to one strike, the pen fails again.

I had this one in the 'W' column. Foolish me. What a nightmare loss in an important game. Again.

What more can you say. A terrible loss. Just terrible.
