Definitely deserving of some MVP votes. Barring injury he WILL get MVP votes, but they won't be for 1st 2nd or 3rd place votes, so he be down around 8th. Writers don't appreciate his mastery at the plate and they'll point out that he hits .220 or so vs lefties

RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 darn, the Twins runners sure blaze around the bases. don't wanna chance the defense muffs on the play.

He does end up with his foot in his mouth quite often Trying the Cleveland tv guys so far, seem pretty good, They are also Questioning the whole Buxton approach,

RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Saw the twins play the d-backs this past weekend in Phoenix. Lost 2 of 3, and looked pathetic. Chase Field in Phenix is a **** hole. 1st row seats, field level, and couldn't see home plate. Stadium is like watching a game in an airplane hangar. The only positive thing was their air conditioning. It was comfortable, despite 372 degrees outside.

bighat Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Let's see how Cleveland does with a runner on 3rd and 1 out.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 As usual leaving all those runners on the bases will hurt the Twins
RickOShea Verified Member Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Would be nice to have a platinum glove winner in cf, for the Twins... Maybe some day. (Sigh)

But the remake is very good as well. I love me some Gene Wilder. Especially in Mel Brooks productions.
