Barring an injury, the guy is gonna win the batting title and it probably won't even be close. Definitely deserving of some MVP votes.

Barring injury he WILL get MVP votes, but they won't be for 1st 2nd or 3rd place votes, so he be down around 8th. Writers don't appreciate his mastery at the plate and they'll point out that he hits .220 or so vs lefties

My performing days are long past ,,. I do other behind the scenes stuff now, which suits me fine. But at one time I was a cellist

Whoops, my bad...I'm probably the only person who thought of the obscure '80s rock band before thinking of Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder.  Pardon me.

Sadly enough, I understood your reference as well!

He’ll be the first to tell you it’s not his fault, and I tend to agree, but just because you have the mic doesn’t mean you have to speak everything that comes to mind. He does end up with his foot in his mouth quite often

Trying the Cleveland tv guys so far, seem pretty good, They are also Questioning the whole Buxton approach,

Indeed.  I edited my previous post in utter shame over that late recognition.

I was actually thinking Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick

Saw the twins play the d-backs this past weekend in Phoenix.  Lost 2 of 3, and looked pathetic.  Chase Field in Phenix is a **** hole.  1st row seats, field level, and couldn't see home plate.  Stadium is like watching a game in an airplane hangar.  The only positive thing was their air conditioning.  It was comfortable, despite 372 degrees outside.

Ill just be happy at that time if Luis is in the top 10 conversation at that Time,

As someone who just made a Spaceballs reference, I imagine that I fit both of those categories.

It was hotter in Duluth yesterday than it was here

I actually prefer the original with Gene Wilder.  But the remake is very good as well.

I love me some Gene Wilder.  Especially in Mel Brooks productions.

Larnach got a bad jump, he moved forward first losing any chance to catch that ball

No one's catching that unless you face plant the wall

What was it that you lost two of that made you look pathetic? I mean I've looked pathetic without losing anything.

It's kind of awesome to see him getting love from the media this season
