You'd prefer waiting g until Colome emptied the bases?

No, it’s just our pen is historically bad at stranding inherited runners

In the words of StrongBad. "A one that is not cold is scarcely a one at all."

I thought it was, "Who lives in a pineapple under the sea?"

Legit question - How many bullpen arms would we need to add at the deadline to be able to compete in the postseason (if we get there)?

Colome’ is not a fan favorite

Seems like years ago when he threw to second in Milwaukee

It's  hard to tell with the face she's making as she reacts to those two other ladies...

Colome's first pitch is always, always, always a ramrod straight low 90s fastball to the exact geometric center of the strike zone.

He thinks he is pitching to Joe Mauer? (full disclosure - I liked Mauer, but understand the frustration).

Do we get to merge with another team to get the bullpen arms?

Don't think so -- the ears on the second one are much bigger and a little more pointed.

I know this is bizarre, but it's like Colome is drawing a paycheck from both the Twins and White Sox.

We're at the point where it's okay to give credit where it's due... Colome is The Tickle Monster.

Dad joke time!

How many tickles does it take to "get" to an octapuss?

That's right, "tentacles"! LOL

Baltimore fans: "Man, if only we had a bullpen as good as the Twins!"

How many arms short are we? Three?

am i seeing a Guaranteed Rate ad behind home plate, and is that not the sponsor of the White Sox ball park...

Noticed that last night, and yes. I assume Twins are charging them a ton for the space

It may be that Baldelli just wanted the fans to see that he realizes Colome is awful when it matters.

Is that why the Vikings can't protect their quarterback?

He turns 27 years old in a couple of days so “about to hit 30” is a bit of a stretch. But the general sentiment of that feels accurate.

You're right, Sorry for being hyperbolic. Althought I did think he was closer to 30 than 25. The curse of coming up young I guess

Refsnyder is a great story - one that could never happen for a championship team.

Maybe. But injuries DO happen for everyone. Part of the beautiful, never ending story that is baseball, is wonderful stories like this that happen. :)
