h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 The run expectancy with a runner at 2nd no out is >1So What. The bullpen still has to give it up..... or not.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Most relievers are toast around 30 pitches
bighat Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 The chance that Colome walks the bases loaded is like 99%.
twins1095 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 So remind me again why using your long reliever in this situation forcing you to use multiple 1 inning relievers 2-3 innings makes sense?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Can the Twins keep Colome on this team if he blows it?He's blown all year!
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Gamecast keeps typing ball in dirt....over and over.....is that real?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 I don’t even know what to say anymore
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 So What. The bullpen still has to give it up..... or not. It's pretty difficult to keep a runner from scoring in that instance. When you don't even need a hit to win a ballgame, I'll blame the overly poor rule over the bullpen.
bighat Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 A base hit ties it now. We'll be lucky to get out of the 10th in a tie, frankly.
SwainZag Community Moderator Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 I don’t even know what to say anymore Clench the cheeks and look away.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Rocco barely lets the starters go more than 40 pitches, but no problem letting blowome in the game...
BD57 Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 I repeat ... this team is soooo hard to watch

wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 And here I thought this was going to be a boring half inning... /s

When you don't even need a hit to win a ballgame, I'll blame the overly poor rule over the bullpen. It's the bullpen's job to do just that. Good relievers, who can get K's, do it all the time. Until today, the Twins were oh for three scoring on the 10th.
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Baldelli's pinch runner that didn't run when he could and didn't need to.
Mike Sixel Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 so, colome did his job? I admit some surprise. Alas, not everyone else did?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Can a pitcher get 2 blown saves in one game?
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Where's Nick Gordon when you need him?
D. Hocking Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Hello darnkess my old friend..I don't think Simon & Garfunkle deserve to be associated with this team at this point...
adjacent Verified Member Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 I don't have the courage to see this on TV.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted April 21, 2021 Posted April 21, 2021 Some pretty awful managing, no matter the outcome
