LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I remember them blowing a 10-0 lead to Cleveland in 1984 with Frankie on the mound. Brutal...I remember that too, but I believe we were ahead by 10 in the 2nd inning
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 2020 Colome: 12/13 in save situations, 1/1 in the playoffs2021 Colome: 2/6 in save situations (OK, it's really 2/5, but it's 2/6 in our hearts)
Cap'n Piranha Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Let’s just play 7 innings for the rest of the season and get it over with. Like call the season off just before the 8th inning starts on Friday?
Rigby Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I remember that too, but I believe we were ahead by 10 in the 2nd inning 3rd. Lost my religion that day.
Azviking101 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I had flashbacks to 09 when they led the A’s 13-2 or something like that and blew it in the 8th and 9th

BD57 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 hitting batters, walking batters . . . . pitching staff was its own worst enemy, and the defense did nothing to pick them up. Of course, our infield in the 10th consisted of '4 guys playing out of position'
singlesoverwalks Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 That would have been Donaldson at third if he had not been pinch-run for by Blankenhorn in the previous inning. Blankenhorn did score...on Buxton's home run. If I were Rocco Baldelli I think I would just quit. Literally every discretionary move he makes goes as badly as possible.
puckstopper1 Verified Member Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 I'm done being positive. SELL THIS TEAM TO MONTREAL Maybe it is time for MLB to consider contraction again...
