Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 The twins have a deep talented bullpen that is better set up right now than Houston’s? Did I host hear that?
dex8425 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Bauer absolutely shoving. Would look good in a Twins uni next year.
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Trade Kepler, Rosario, Polanco, Sano. Start Kirilloff, Rooker, Larnach, Lewis next year.Keep Kepler, he actually shows up for big moments and high pressure situations. Rest of these bums can go though
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 The twins have a deep talented bullpen that is better set up right now than Houston’s? Did I host hear that?Yes. Yes you did. LOL
Crackedfungo Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Between Jeffers, Kiriloff, Lewis, Duran, Balazovic and a few others, I think the next 12-18 months are going to bring new enthusiasm to the team, and hopefully, ambivalence towards the playoff history. That said, the remaining vets and Baldelli need to figure out a new approach in the playoffs, and find a new hitting coach, whatever they did last year and this year in advance of the playoffs specifically also needs to be flushed (along with Gonzalez, Romo, Avila, Tortuga, etc).
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 That strike was a gift. Even the ump feels bad for us
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Yes. Yes you did. LOLI mean, the first part isnt even true, but the second part is CLEARLY false
Vanimal46 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Don’t you dare take Berrios out this early.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 That strike was a gift. Even the ump feels bad for ushuh?
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Be back in 5 minutes after what I assume will be another hitless half inning
Brock Beauchamp Site Manager Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Like the fire from Berrios. It’d be nice if I felt it from literally anyone else on the field.
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Bauer absolutely shoving. Would look good in a Twins uni next year. "Sure Bauer looks good, but have you seen *insert mediocre pitcher with an over 4 ERA*?" - Twins Front Office
Crackedfungo Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Surprised Polanco didn't airmail the routine throw to second.....Can we get some GD hits now? This Astros team should be a walk-over.
TFRazor Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 huh?Sorry meant maldonado. I think I complained about strike zone so much yesterday it auto corrected
dex8425 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Don’t you dare take Berrios out this early.I wouldn't take him out until at least the 8th. Dude is fired up rn and hitting spots.
CTTwin Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Our hitters seem to be in a daze, instead of being prepared and locked in. Let's go !
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Like the fire from Berrios. It’d be nice if I felt it from literally anyone else on the field. It's pretty much just Berrios and Kirilloff
Foghorn Leghorn Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Like the fire from Berrios. It’d be nice if I felt it from literally anyone else on the field.Feels like Berrios and AK76 are the only ones that actually care today
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 All I'm watching this game for is the Kirilloff at-bats now. Everything else is predGreat catch and hitHis 1st hit dont even count on a baseball card , Okay Rocco you can pull him now or if its crucial later in the game,
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Berrios has to pitch the 6th, I know that’s a big stretch for Rocco, but he has to
insagt1 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 ha! No this isn't my first look at postseason Twins. I go back to the entire 17 game mess. But it does seem like GroundHog Day doesn't it. With every possible advantage they could have (already stated), they still can't make it happen. At least not yet.....its still a 9 inning game. (the sun just came out in Rochester, NY so I am clinging to that ray of optimism...what the heck)
wsnydes Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Don’t you dare take Berrios out this early. But we were just told that the Twins bullpen is deep and set up nicely!
Danchat Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 I'd give Berrios the 6th, and then likely go Wisler for the 7th here. Can't complain with what we've gotten from the pitchers so far, just 2 earned runs in the series.
Diesel Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 That was a good jump by Kirilloff too
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 "Sure Bauer looks good, but have you seen *insert mediocre pitcher with an over 4 ERA*?" - Twins Front Office Umm, Sir, we like our pitchers to be hurt or suspended to the start the season so we can make "essentially a trade" mid year
MNT1996 Verified Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 His 1st hit dont even count on a baseball card , Okay Rocco you can pull him now or if its crucial later in the game, Yeah I'm getting ready for Rocco to pinch hit Kirilloff for Avila in order for Rocco to use his 4 catchers.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Keep Kepler, he actually shows up for big moments and high pressure situations. Rest of these bums can go thoughKepler, postseason career: 1-for-16. He does have 7 walks, though.
USAFChief Twins Daily Contributor Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 He's taking Berrios out. isn't he?
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Rocco is yanking berrios out. Awful
