Get a grip.

It was not a good AB. His job with no outs is to get a run home. That is what he is paid to do. Get a grip by rear end......how many more excuses are we going to make when time is running out and our guys have failed to do the job?  You get no points for form.

Please tell me Cave won’t be on the team next season. Terrible at bat and terrible play in the field. Should have been a single. No reason to play that into a double.

agreed, and clearly the pop up wasn’t ‘good’. There is a difference between process and results.

 

Unfortunately there's little time for process. Hopefully Sano can answer his next at bat.

I've turned off the game, think I'm better off just checking the live GameDay score on the interwebz at this point. Seems to be pointless torture and suffering, continuing to watch. Why do that to yourself?

 

Gets me thinking about how many other great things there are in life besides baseball. A walk on the beach, a bike ride down by the lake, a good snowfall on a crisp December morning, etc.

 

You know things are bleak for your team when you start getting philosophical about this kind of crap.....
