Could've sworn that FSN1 notched that second run for the Yankees before the ball was halfway to Sano.

You can argue whether or not Sano should have playing in (though I assume that came from the dugout)…. but few get to that and making a play on it from where Sano was.

They shift to the right, and then pitch up or outside. Sure seems not very analytical to me. It is like you forget that you have decided to shift, and pitch to let them get a hit anyway.

I can only assume that Gardner will lay one down if he shifts too far away and the data was probably saying shift.
