LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Why was Sano playing in with 2 outs
LaBombo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Could've sworn that FSN1 notched that second run for the Yankees before the ball was halfway to Sano.
FLTwinsGuy Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Kinda feel bad for Odo there..Cave cost him big time with that embarrassing attempt at a diving play
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Anyone with kids too young to understand what has gone on between these two teams the last 15 or 16 years, show the last inning and a half. That’s all they need to see
twinsnorth49 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If there is a god,he won't let Gardner drive this run in................but he's probably a Yankees fan. Naturally...
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 And the big two out hit we can't do. Heck we can't even get a big no out hit. 2-0. I can't see any way Twins are going to come back hitting the way they are. Thats 29 k's and counting. Pathetic.
Brian450 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I make a move that all criticisms regarding umpiring, announcing or anything besides the twins spectacular failures be awarded warning pointsJk You're on your own, Aggies ;-).
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This is no longer "My pinewood derby car came in last".Still stings, eh? Me too.
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Could've sworn that FSN1 notched that second run for the Yankees before the ball was halfway to Sano. You can argue whether or not Sano should have playing in (though I assume that came from the dugout)…. but few get to that and making a play on it from where Sano was.
Brian450 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Playing in with two outs? AND WITH TWO STRIKES? DO WE HONESTLY THINK HE'S BUNTING????
Intramural Legend Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 And the big two out hit we can't do. Heck we can't even get a big no out hit. 2-0. I can't see any way Twins are going to come back hitting the way they are. Thats 29 k's and counting. Pathetic. But this team is not afraid of the Yankees!
gocgo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Why was Sano playing in with 2 outsIf he's playing back a step and gets to that ball, same result.

That’s all they need to see Oddly enough, it usually ends up worse than that.......somehow.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 This team is all talk. Until they beat the yankees or win a single game in the playoffs, there is no need to have pregame interviews.
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I'm thinking of getting a walrus. Keeping it in the neighbors swimming pool. Do you think the Neighbor will mind? you could tell him that you are starting a jumbo shrimp farm and you’ll cut him in on the profit
operation mindcrime Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I bet my bottom dollar that the Yanks won't leave that runner at 3rd.Some reverse jinx this was!
sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Author Posted October 8, 2019 This is no longer "My pinewood derby car came in last". This is shaping up to be "My pinewood derby car lost a wheel, departed the track, and caught on fire".If i had a pinewood derby... i would wear it.
insagt1 Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 The only way the Twins can score is with HR's. I was criticized for suggesting that they try scoring in other ways.
Blake Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 He didn't strike out. Unlike 2 Twins. Chalk up another run to poor Twins defense.Bad positioning. Gardner is known to go the opposite way, so, probably should have just played him straight up.
gocgo Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If ever there was a team in need of a come back win, we are it.
Hosken Bombo Disco Community Moderator Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 But we got them sitting on the pinocle...Did you mean, pinochle?
h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 They shift to the right, and then pitch up or outside. Sure seems not very analytical to me. It is like you forget that you have decided to shift, and pitch to let them get a hit anyway.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I’m physically and emotionally drained haha
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Why was Sano playing in with 2 outs I can only assume that Gardner will lay one down if he shifts too far away and the data was probably saying shift.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I wonder if the Indians would have done anything different...
ashbury Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 Chalk up another run to poor Twins defense.I thought corner OF defense wasn't important.
Pius Jefferson Verified Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 If there is a god,he won't let Gardner drive this run in................but he's probably a Yankees fan. He's up there knocking 'em back with Babe and Mickey while Yogi is making crazy quotes with Mark Twain.
Aggies7 Old-Timey Member Posted October 8, 2019 Posted October 8, 2019 I wonder if the Indians would have done anything different...History suggests literally any other team can beat these guys
