sampleSizeOfOne Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 The dog ate my game thread intro. I was stuck in traffic. One more donut won't hurt me. stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Good job SSo1. We need basics and lineups--mission accomplished. Cron back at first, Marwin back in right field, but no Kepler. Arraez gets a day off against a lefty.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I looked at the Twins' lineup and was really confused why Dobnak would be leading off ... especially given that we are not in a National League park.
Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 I still wish Arraez would lead off consistently. I would rather Garver hit a home run with someone on base. But, yes, let's give the guy a rest.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Like the intro, limited lame attempts at being clever, lineups , less is more , good job
IndianaTwin Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Don’t you just hate it when the computer crashes AND the electricity goes out right before you save something?
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Very winnable game. Magic number should at least be 5 by the end of the night. Go Twins! Go Phillies!
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Max ?? anyone know whats really goin on with him ? Roccos always the same speach, dosent say when or ?

jimbo92107 Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 If Kepler has a torn labrum, that'd explain why they're keeping him out. Damn painful, and they don't heal without surgery.
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 If Kepler has a torn labrum, that'd explain why they're keeping him out. Damn painful, and they don't heal without surgery. If this was the case, wouldn't they have announced it after having a couple MRI's? Let's hope this is not the injury.
VATwinsFan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Cleveland already up 2-0 with no outs in the first against Bryce Harper and friends.
PDX Twin Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Cleveland already up 2-0 with no outs in the first against Bryce Harper and friends. Yeah, that Harper can't get anybody out.
Otto von Ballpark Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 "Skoglund vs Dobnak" has a certain ring to it...
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 As the regular season winds to a close, just want to say thanks to all for the excellent commentary about our fave professional baseball team. I'm unable to participate as much during games these days, but can still thoroughly enjoy reading the game threads and rewinds afterwards. It's all good fun. Now let's do all we can to help the Twins tend to the business and hand and make the magic number 5 tonight.
Circus Boy Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 "Skoglund vs Dobnak" has a certain ring to it...Kinda like "Kramer vs Kramer."
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 2-0 Cleveland already. Rats.
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 2-0 Cleveland already. Rats.early leads don’t always hold up.... remember last nights game
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 Gotta hand it to the Tribe, hope the leads still 4 on Monday
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 early leads don’t always hold up.... remember last nights game This is true, but it still would be nice to see Cleveland losing, right?
mrtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 early leads don’t always hold up.... remember last nights gameRookie call up catcher , Tribe running all over
denarded Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 We have to prepare to win 6 games. I have this awful feeling Cleveland isn't going to lose again
bighat Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 We have to prepare to win 6 games. I have this awful feeling Cleveland isn't going to lose again Yeah they're on fire. And not really being challenged, haven't even been pushed in any of their games in the past week. Looks like tonight's another W with Beiber pitching and a 3-run lead. I think the Twins should operate under the assumption that Cleveland's not going to lose another game this year. Edit: 4-run lead. C'mon, Phillies! Do something!
FlauerPauer Verified Member Posted September 20, 2019 Posted September 20, 2019 We have to prepare to win 6 games. I have this awful feeling Cleveland isn't going to lose again All good since the Twins aren't going to lose another game this year, either
Richie the Rally Goat Community Moderator Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 At the game. Got my free stocking cap. Shook Tony O’s hand. It’s. Great day! Go Twins!
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 We have to prepare to win 6 games. I have this awful feeling Cleveland isn't going to lose againwe can win 6, but no way Cleveland wins out, no way, they’ll lose at least one to Philly and one to the Sox , and more if the Nats don’t clinch a spot
wabene Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 I believe the Twins haven't had a ten game stretch under 500. They have one four game losing streak and one three game losing streak. I am too lazy to figure it out but that's probably because of the relaxed blissful fog this team has me in....
LVTwinsfan Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Isn’t this the goalie for the Wild
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Take care of business boys! Six more wins means it won't matter what Cleveland does.
