I tell ya, Dobnak is destined to be a workhorse starter for the next decade. Good foundation, surprising locations, no fear. He could be a #3 starter for a long time. He does need to work on holding runners, tho.

Might be our best #  3 right now ?

I hope Dobnak can go at least 5 tonite...better 6. But we won['t get ahead of ourselves. He is not quite as sharp but still recording outs. Thats what matters.

I hope Eddie was watching closely the way the old guy legged out that double. Hustle all the way.

Last weekend in Guatemala for a while. Next weekend I'm heading back to the USA for a month. Caught some nasty virus down here a couple weeks ago and I must admit I haven't quite bounced back. Had planned to come back to the USA anyway but now I've got to go see a doc upon arrival. Sucks but thanks to Twins baseball and this board, I have something to distract me while I deal with these lingering symptoms.

 

Should find myself in Minnesota by October 6th, with any luck I'll be watching October Twins baseball while in the great state of MN!

Just make sure you have your parka with you when you pass through the Miami airport

Maybe you'll have to give all your other shoes away to a relative or someone.

Yeah ... I tried to give some to my niece, who liked them, but her parents just groaned and eye-rolled and didn't want her to have more shoes.

 

But the Fluevogs are worth something ... I can sell them and get some money back on them.

Frankie Yankovic, "America's Polka King" and Grammy winner is not related to parody producer "Weird Al" Yankovic, although they both play accordion and have collaborated.

Hey - been awhile since I posted - but have been wondering who did Squirrel used to be?  I missed the name change, or did the real Rally Squirrel recently joined the forum and has simply had the time to post over 24,000 times in a few weeks? 

 

And if it is the real Rally Squirrel - is it true you are trying to sabotage TC Bear so you can be the primary woodland mascot for the Twins?  I heard you might have spiked his honey with something that made him act inappropriately at some fan event and is now taking sensitivity classes.

 

I am starting to think the early part of the season might not have been a fluke.

LaMarre and Schoop should not be on post season roster. Wade, Cron, Gonzalez, Castro, Adrianza, Kepler, Polanco, Cruz, Garver, Sano, Rosario, Arraez, Cave, Berrios, Odorizzi, Dobnak, Rogers, Duffey, Littell, Romo, May, Graterol, Smeltzer, Thorpe and Perez (Thorpe, Perez and Smeltzer should be in the bullpen).

Coldest place on the planet, just ahead of Novosibirsk Russia in the latest rankings if I recall correctly.

 

Luckily we're going through Houston this time. Quicker customs lines. Then connecting to Tampa for a beach week before heading back to MN.
