Is this just a game of chicken at the deadline?  Dang I keep thinking they will trade Dozier but nothing yet.  This game of deal or no deal is killing me.

You know 'deal or no deal' is coming back.  They are filming right now in Orlando.  Or maybe it wrapped the end of last week.

Twins ... um ... nice trade or whatever. But he's a FA anyway, so something is better than nothing. The return makes me think the Twins plan to pursue him in free agency.

So, we take Forsythe off their hands, and the best prospect is #19.  I'm not real excited with this return.

Initial impressions:

 

Smeltzer looks like low grade org filler.  Raley looks OK, but doesn't scream building block.

I'll be honest, I'm not excited about a single player brought back at the deadline. A bunch of C level prospects and residual type guys. I get it, who we traded really wasn't worth a heck of a lot and that is the main part of it. 

I was hoping for at least one guy from all these trades though with some major upside. As it stands, there isn't a guy brought over that will make our top 20 prospect list, is there???

 

Not mad by any means though. All of the guys dealt had expiring deal, other than Pressly. My hope is that some of these guys they picked up will be used in a year or so to package up and bring some real talent in here...
