I think Dobnak is better suited to throw at Yankee Stadium than Odo. I'm predicting Dobnak goes 5.1 giving up 2 runs in whichever game he starts and we have a 3-2 or 4-2 lead when he exits. He just seems to get the job done lately.
We've played both of them very well this year. A couple meltdowns cost us against the Bronx. I do think Romo will help against the Yankees specifically. But yeah I'm definitely disappointed as well don't get me wrong.
If the Twins don't make any moves the only bright side is that none of the other AL favorites have either besides CLE. Trying to look on the bright side..
Last nights game felt like it could be a major turning point in the season, one way or another. The resiliency shown by the offense was incredible. The Yankees no doubt have a great team as well but I hope the collapse from the pitching staff doesn't make the season go off the rails. Deflating loss for sure.
Stayed up for the whole thing, thankfully I'm in central time. Littell might be an intriguing piece, came in throwing 97. I did not know he was capable of that even out of the pen.
I was thinking the same thing about bringing in Rogers, but, I almost have to believe he was hoping Parker could sneak through that 7th inning and then Rocco would've went to Taylor for the final two innings. Especially with how Cleveland has struggled against LHP.
