He basically faced the equivalent of the players that he saw in MiLB, save Castellanos. AAAA and only in the rotation next year if the Twins are as bad or worse than they are this year.

For the record, I didn't like the opener concept, but now I just don't care. I guess getting outs = getting outs. But also, for the record, I've gotten to a point, especially this season, where I'm not going by wins vs losses as success. I go by wins + losses where the tying run is at the plate at the end vs. all other losses. Lowering the bar is an easy way to find satisfaction.

I agree, but I doubt they want to mess with his routine at this point. The routines of the new guys are all fluid as they take their looks.

I'm not going to make any excuses for Kavanaugh's past behavior, but these are the types of statements that get lost in translation when recommunicated and then we never get the truth.

That version of the video makes it look more in line with what they are trying to say. I had not seen this longer unedited version. The chopped version that they show on FSN is all I have seen. The abuse scene is way shorter. The pregnancy scene isn't even shown. IMO, the editors chop the abuse scene too much. They also never show the part where she tosses his hand. I'll admit that I probably don't focus 100% on each frame during commercials, but I would bet that I'm in the majority there. I have a 13 yo daughter, so I'd be lying if I said any of those four statistics have never at least worried me in passing. I guess I just don't care for the editors work in this case. I understand that they probably only have so many seconds in a spot.

Is it just me or is the scene for the statistic on abuse a bit over the top? It appears to be a father putting his hand on his daughter's shoulder while possibly asking about her day, answering a homework question or something like that. I know nothing about the org and have no problem with the rest of the commercial and on the surface would agree with the message, but that scene made me say "Really?"

The Twins traded away the unwatchable Lance Lynn, only to start giving innings to the unwatchable Gonsalves.
