It's always nice to see the Twins finish off the sweep of the Orioles. It's happened a lot, I always seem to make it up for the afternoon game of the three-game set, and it usually results in a sweep. At least three, maybe four times in the past 6-8 years, I think.

Couple observations:

Giminez got very predictable in his game calling. First pitch fastballs nearly every time in the latter innings.

 

Don't get bringing in Rogers to face several righties. Presley needs be able to get 4-5 outs there.

 

Lots of pitches up in the zone to Sano. I have a feeling that's all he is going to see for a while.

 

And hell, we swept the Birds!

Sano with 7k's in last two games?  Wow.  Kinda looks like he is trying to pull all those outside pitches...and most of the pitches have been outside that he has seen.

Yeah, his front shoulder is pulling off the ball bad.

The reverse 87 Twins who won at home and lost on the road. But wound up getting into the Series by winning on the road.

 

So, the Twins make the playoffs and have to win at home to continue then have to win the Series on the road.

Twins had a season sweep of the O's in 2015 and I punctuated it by sending all my Orioles friends a picture of a set of brooms.  They pretty much disowned me after that.

Yeah, the truth is that these gentlemen were apparently given mugshots for being arrested for not displaying the "slow moving vehicle" orange triangle on their carriages. But that is less fun than the libelous use I put the photo to.
