Ah, a relaxing inning for Berrios. Well, for us watching Berrios. Nice curve, clever change-up, keeping that fastball low. That's fun to watch.

So it seems like Buxton's issue is he's been hitting the ball too far.  Keep it in the infield, and he's fine.

Also, Buxton now officially does not have the lowest average on the Twins.  That last hit allowed him to pass Gimenez.

No kidding.  He's got enough pop that he makes a corner infielders life miserable.  How do you position yourself?  Plus, when he's slumping, a drag bunt is a great way to get on base.

Sano has had some pretty terrible at-bats the last two days.

Anyway, man, am I getting old and crotchety. 

 

I had a Dr. appointment at 10:30. Showed up early, paid my co-pay, waited 40 minutes, finally said I cannot wait, (fulling expecting to eat the co-pay) rescheduled and left. Much to my surprise, the office credited my account.

 

Was a time I'd have waited, and waited and waited. I would have been the Energizer Bunny of waiting,

Machado has not had good at bats the last 2 games.  Beyond just making outs, taking wildly aggressive swings.  Seems like a man without a plan.

Berrios looks like he regrouped. He's as dominant in the sixth inning as he was in the first.
