Obviously, Tillman didn't pitch against the Twins last year. (no idea if he did or not, seems reasonable, however)

I believe he actually started the season opener last year--the rain delay must have prevented him from going at least 5.

Many years ago Microsoft Word introduced an Autocorrect feature that could turn commonly misspelled words into their corrected form, like 'teh' into 'the.' I discovered that the feature was customizable - you could make your own list of word/corrected word in the program. Feeling like Calvin one day, I got into my brother's business computer. In Word's Autocorrect customizer I entered his name, then on the other side I put "@$$hole." <--Hey, TD's got Autocorrect, too!

 

It was actually a couple days later when I got the call from my brother about that little change...

 

I also did a screen captured of his Windows desktop, hid his icons in a folder, then made the capture image into his Windows wallpaper. Oh, my poor old knee was sore from slapping on that day, I tell ya!

The Baltimore analyst said he thinks Dozier could easily steal home right now, since Machado is almost 60 feet away from the bag.  Begging the question--why isn't Dozier doing that?

Exactly. Always lead off the same distance (or a little more, if you're fast) than the fielder is from the bag.

In watching Gameday pitch tracks, I don't know that Tillman has thrown a single pitch that would be a called strike yet.

 

Ump had a very generous zone in that Gimenez at-bat.
