Sure. And I absolutely could see your dad doing this.

I built a birdhouse when I was younger. I couldn't get the Twins game on it so I ended up disappointed.

The Birdhouse was about as ugly as it gets. The Hole was lopsided and the sides didn't mesh together at perfect angles and the paint job was streaky. My shop teacher gave me a generous D on the project because he knew I tried.

Turns out that the Birds didn't care. They moved right in.

This lineup (somewhat) was discussed in another post. I know Robbie is hot right now, but it just doesn't seem to be MLB with him wearing a glove. I know walks happen, but why they nibble to him is beyond me. He just doesn't chase, and is really not a good enough hitter to scare anyone.

Many amateur statasticians (and I think some of them are among us) believe Grossman is essentially the perfect hitter, and they'll give you several reasons why he should be a cornerstone of this lineup.  I happen to agree with you - he's a nice pinch hitter / backup outfielder.  I hope the Twins begin leaning that way and phase out his playing time.  Robbie's not an every day player IMO.  Would rather see Kepler, Rosario, Buxton, and for now I see no reason not to play Vargas as the DH.  Every day, all of them.

Yeah, my wife worked for him in the late 80's, as a QA tech. I was in the Systems Engineering group, but heard Doug speak many times. Met your mom, too, at one or another of the holiday parties.

We were mostly at the Minnetonka facility, where he was based in Edina, if I recall correctly

Did we already have this conversation, so many times I've had this with random people?

OK, next question.  What condiments are allowed on a steak without insulting the cook?

I'm going to get things thrown at me... But I like Ketchup with Steak. Always have... Always will.

If the cook is insulted... He shouldn't watch.

Yes, we have. On multiple sites. :)

One issue that should be considered is Kepler's and others youth. And the teams current mode, which is rebuilding. Meaning the Keplers of the team play, against both sided pitching, to develop for hopefully a successful career and not coincidentally a successful team. Giving Robbie Grossman at bats to win a game in April with this team is short sighted. I had hoped that thinking left sometime last summer!

Bleu cheese in certain cases.

Chimichurri at Argentinian places.

Peppercorn sauce if it's ordered that way.

Salt.

Horseradish seems more like a prime rib thing, doesn't it? Oh well, I'd have it anyway.

Any I'm missing?

That reminds me of a place in DC that I've visited.  Hill Country.

I heard this place is supposed to be good.

And it's got those mellowing agents...

I assume the double-clutch thing Gimenez does before he throws the ball back to the pitcher is so runners can't guess when he's gonna throw back and get a cheap steal

But sometimes he does it with no one on too

Napoli tried the little shin guard thing... trying to act like he's walking and hurriedly reach to unstrap the shin guard to coax the ump into letting him walk. Didn't work!

If you live in a place where it's still snowing, your opinion doesn't count

For those on deck or on the bench? Keep 'em guessing!

That's a perfect description! From now on I'm going to refer to my ex-wife as 'Birdhouse'.
